In one of my cookbooks I found a recipe for Turkey Stuffing Bread, and I decided to make my own stuffing mix. My family quickly declared that I was never to make the stuffing with any other bread.<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/myheart4home.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSC_0010%2525255B12%2525255D.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC_0010\" border=\"0\" height=\"266\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/myheart4home.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSC_0010_thumb%2525255B9%2525255D.jpg?resize=397%2C266&#038;ssl=1\" style=\"background-image: none; border: 0px currentColor; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\" title=\"DSC_0010\" width=\"397\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">It\u2019s not a pretty loaf but it tastes amazing! Despite fiddling with the recipe, I haven\u2019t yet been able to produce the perfect loaf but since it gets cubed and toasted it doesn\u2019t matter much.<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">I\u2019m not a big fan of cornbread stuffing but I humor my husband and compromise by using ground cornmeal in place of some of the flour to give a little bit of that grainy cornbread texture.<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">Here\u2019s the recipe to make a 2-pound loaf in the bread machine <\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">(follow the order of ingredients for your particular machine):<br \/>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1 1\/3 cups water<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1 large egg ( 1\/4 cup of Eggbeaters)<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">4 tablespoons butter (cut into small chunks)<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1\/2 diced onion (I use all of a small onion, more like 3\/4 cup)<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1 tablespoon brown sugar<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">2\/3 teaspoon salt<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1\/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1 1\/3 teaspoons dry sage<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1 1\/3 teaspoons celery seeds<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1 teaspoon poultry seasoning<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">1 cup cornmeal<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">3 1\/2 cups bread flour<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">2 teaspoons yeast<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">Bake on the white or sweet bread cycle, on the medium brown setting.<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">On Wednesday evening, I\u2019ll cube the bread, spread the cubes on a cookie sheet and bake them at 300 degrees until they are dry and crunchy. <\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">While the bread is toasting, I\u2019ll share my recipe for Apple &amp; Sausage Stuffing.<br \/>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">Until then\u2026I\u2019m counting my blessings and loving that God gifted me with a Heart 4 Home!<br \/>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">Pam<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A couple of years ago, I began to make most of our bread.
