The last few weeks I have been reading about blog design <\/p>\n
and combing through Pinterest and some of my favorite blogs for inspiration. <\/p>\n
I\u2019m putting together a \u201cStyle Sheet\u201d with my ideas and preferences <\/p>\n
so I can ask someone with more tech savvy than <\/p>\n
I to redesign this blog into what I want it to be. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I thought I could do it myself but have come to the honest reality<\/p>\n
 that I don\u2019t have the patience or knowledge<\/p>\n
 to fine tune the little details that make a difference. <\/p>\n
Yes, I am finally learning I can\u2019t do it all <\/p>\n
but that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s not worth doing or having done! <\/p>\n
Be watching for changes! <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
As I have created, copied and pasted, staged pictures and edited said pictures, <\/p>\n
I have prayed about the direction this blog should take. <\/p>\n
I don\u2019t want it to be too narrow but <\/p>\n
I don\u2019t want it to become so broad <\/p>\n
that it doesn\u2019t speak to anyone either.<\/p>\n
 I have asked God to guide me in a statement of purpose <\/p>\n
and in a Scripture that would challenge myself and readers alike. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I believe He has given me both. <\/p>\n
The Lord knows that my heart is to become a woman like those described in Titus 2. <\/p>\n
He has guided me to shape my purpose from the heart of those verses. <\/p>\n
And He has directed me to share the verse that is my chosen motivation for what I do each day. <\/p>\n
In fact, it is printed and hangs above my desk at work. I would like to share both with you. <\/p>\n

My Heart for Home\u2019s Purpose<\/strong><\/u> <\/p>\n
Create and energize a love for the homemaking arts through stressing simplicity, <\/p>\n
ease, and passion. Share what I have learned to inspire others to recognize<\/p>\n
 that homemaking doesn\u2019t have to be difficult. <\/p>\n
Help women to understand you don’t have to be <\/p>\n
a stay-at-home wife\/mom to have a home that is warm and welcoming, <\/p>\n
and it is the small, simple things that help<\/p>\n
 you move beyond functional to beautiful. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
My Heart for Home\u2019s Motivation<\/strong><\/u> <\/p>\n
Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), <\/p>\n
as [something done] for the Lord and not for men. <\/p>\n
(Colossians 3:23 Amplified Bible) <\/p>\n
