Yesterday I shared about our Annual Father\u2019s Day Burger Cook-off<\/a><\/div>\n
but I didn’t share the burgers that were created. They were all very delicious.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I can only divulge recipes for components of my own entry. My family was very open<\/div>\n
about what they put on the burgers but not necessarily the recipes for the burger patties or sauces.<\/div>\n
I\u2019d be happy to have any of them guest post their recipes if I get requests for them.<\/div>\n

Bacon, beef and duck fat patty topped with onions caramelized in duck fat,<\/div>\n

Lamb patty with cucumber tzatziki sauce and tomato on a grilled onion bun.<\/div>\n

Emily\u2019s \u201cGee Whiz Peach Blackberry BBQ Burger\u201d:<\/div>\n
Gee whiz (family recipe) burger, grilled peaches, raw spinach, onion straws,<\/div>\n
and roasted blackberry BBQ sauce on a toasted potato bun.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
All of the burgers tasted wonderful but the best part of the afternoon<\/div>\n
was the fun and banter while they were being prepared.<\/div>\n
I encourage you to choose a family favorite food and\u00a0 have your own contest.<\/div>\n
It could be hot dogs, pizza, pasta sauce\u2014any food item that can be \u201cpersonalized.\u201d<\/div>\n
