She and I became better acquainted<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">when my husband and I decided to attend the church where two of our sons were attending.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">She and her husband attended that church.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/myheart4home.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Speaking%25255B18%25255D.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images-blogger-opensocial.googleusercontent.com\/gadgets\/proxy?url=http%3A%2F%2Flh6.ggpht.com%2F-ufteHOxGwlg%2FU6sh-_inGPI%2FAAAAAAAABqQ%2FODuxOFkbDpU%2FSpeaking_thumb%2525255B9%2525255D.jpg%3Fimgmax%3D800&amp;container=blogger&amp;gadget=a&amp;rewriteMime=image%2F*\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">We have become better acquainted as we have chatted in the foyer and kitchen of the church.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">She is an amazing hostess and cook, and has coordinated the meals for many church events.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Her laugh is infectious, and her joy in the Lord is contagious. Her life and faith have been a role model to me<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">since I have known her because she has such a servant\u2019s heart.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Last night, I was paid a huge compliment. While working in the kitchen<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">serving snacks for VBS, another worker smiled at me and told me that she could see Karmen<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">in my desire to serve (and feed) others.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">This past weekend, Karmen was diagnosed with a brain tumor and,<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">after the biopsy this morning, her husband posted on Facebook that it was cancer.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">The news has rocked her family and our church, but we know<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">we have a good God that is faithful.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Earlier this year, I shared the <a href=\"http:\/\/myheart4home.blogspot.com\/2014\/01\/amazing-confirmation.html\">story<\/a> of a gentleman in our church that God literally<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0raised from the dead. The doctors confirmed that he was dead for about 45 minutes.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">His wife is a very close friend of Karmen\u2019s, and his story has bolstered the faith<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">of many reminding us how great our God is.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">I am praying for God to touch Karmen and heal her according to his sovereign will.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Will you join me in praying for this amazing woman of God?
