As school has kicked into full-swing here on campus, it seems that time has flown.<\/div>\n
Add to the flurry a couple of days under the weather, and I can\u2019t believe it\u2019s been two weeks<\/div>\n
\u00a0since I posted. It\u2019s easy this time of year to get caught up in the activity<\/div>\n
but it\u2019s important to take time to enjoy the little moments!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We are having gorgeous weather here in the Northwest as summer begins to wind down.<\/div>\n
Tonight was one of those evenings that was absolutely beautiful for a walk.<\/div>\n
It was a special walk because our sweet granddaughter is sleeping over at our house.<\/div>\n
Our walk started as a \u201ccycle bike\u201d ride.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n
After a loop on the \u201ccycle bike\u201d Nora decided we needed to keep walking to the fountain,<\/div>\n
her favorite place. So we took off on foot through our little woods which is really just a few evergreen trees left standing between campus buildings.<\/div>\n
The best part of walking with a toddler is that you aren\u2019t going anywhere very quickly!<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
We stop to clean rocks out of the crocs, and we find sticks to walk with and throw, and we chase squirrels as she calls \u201cCome \u2018ere skirrl! You\u2019re my friend!\u201d<\/div>\n
\"Splashing<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We stop to watch the bubbles in the fountain.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\"Sitting<\/a>\u00a0\"Need<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Sometimes a girl just needs to stop. How many two-year-olds do you know that tell you \u201cI just need<\/div>\n
a moment\u201d? Or decide a short \u201cnap\u201d on the sidewalk is needed.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
That little rest must have been what she needed because she definitely got a second wind.<\/div>\n
\"Jump<\/a><\/div>\n
After swinging between Grandpa and Grandma and kicking her crocs way out in front of her,<\/div>\n
she decided she didn\u2019t want to wear them anymore. After a few more swings,<\/div>\n
she decided she needed to jump. Amazing how toddlers can jump without ever leaving the ground!<\/div>\n

And of course the best way to finish a walk is with a juice bar!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
As we enjoy the last few days of summer,<\/div>\n
\u00a0take time to enjoy the little moments walking with a child or<\/div>\n
\u00a0hand-in-hand with the love of your life.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Don\u2019t get so busy with back to school, fall cleaning, or pre-holiday planning<\/div>\n
\u00a0that you don\u2019t take time with the special people in your life.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Enjoying this season with my heart for home and family!<\/div>\n
