aren\u2019t the same with ground meat.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">So I decided to create a variation that would work well will ground lamb\u2014hand pies.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Serve them with tzatziki sauce and a tomato-cucumber- feta salad, and you have a great meal.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pie Crust<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Use your own favorite recipe or store-bought pie dough.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">1 egg, beaten or 1\/4 cup egg beater<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pie Filling<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">1 pound ground lamb meat<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">2 strips uncured bacon, diced small<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">1 medium onion, diced small<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">3 garlic cloves pressed<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Brown in a skillet until meat is no longer red, and the onions are transparent.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">1\/4 cup unbleached flour<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">1 cup beef stock (or lamb stock if you have it)<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Sprinkle the flour over the browned meat and stir until meat and onions are coated.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Gently add the beef stock and continuing stirring until it thickens into a nice gravy<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0and the meat mixture is the consistency of uncooked pie filling.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Remove the filling from the heat and cool it.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">It is important to cool the pie filling before creating the pies,<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0or it will cause the pie dough to tear.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">After the filling has cooled, roll out the pie dough and cut 6-inch circles.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">I used\u00a0 my new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kitchenandcompany.com\/kitchen-tools\/food-prep-tools\/pasta-tools\/_\/Norpro-Large-Dough-and-Dumpling-Press?tc=gfs13&amp;utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_content=Norpro%20Large%20Dough%20and%20Dumpling%20Press&amp;gclid=Cj0KEQjwn4iiBRDFh76wlfCVuYABEiQAwWJ1In7v80ah9bmRbD8_hCxYTbakZgt7Ki4BWonRKtm9voUaAm1W8P8HAQ\" target=\"_blank\">hand pie maker<\/a> and followed the directions on the package.)<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0Put about 1\/4-cup of filling just off-center on the circle.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Fold the circle over and seal the edges with a fork.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0Place on a cookie sheet that has been misted with oil.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Continue until pie dough and filling is used up.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">With a fork, poke vent holes in each pie.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">the egg and brush the top of each pie.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Bake in a 375 degree oven for 25 minutes until golden brown.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:
