That “Nora” for feeding squirrels and birdies!
Our sweet little granddaughter loves to be outside,
and she loves watching the squirrels scamper across our patio
and the birds playing in the bird bath.
So today we made little feeder tubes to put out in the backyard
to attract and feed the “skurls n boodies.”
We used bird seed and squirrel feed, peanut butter, and toilet paper cores.
I cut each of the cores into three rings.
I smeared peanut butter on the outside of each ring.
Then we rolled three rings in each of the feeds. When we had six rings, we took them outside.
We hung the bird rings in a tree and the squirrel rings on a low shrub
where we have seen the squirrels eating berries.
Now we just have to wait for the squirrels and birds to find them.
I hope to catch some of the little critters enjoying their treats with the camera!
I love spending time with Nora and sharing with her little heart my heart for home!
